Develop Your Skills through Professional Theatre Training
At No Strings, we believe everyone has a story to tell and a place on the stage. Our workshops encourage participants to explore their own interests, challenge their capabilities, and contribute to creating award-winning theatre.
Through professional theatre training, people living with disability develop practical skills, confidence, and opportunities to pursue their aspirations in the Arts – a sector that makes a vibrant contribution to our culture and economy. Our programs include workshops, performances, collaborative projects, and partnerships that support participants in taking meaningful steps toward their creative and career goals.
NDIS
No Strings workshops are recognised as an allowable support under the NDIS, providing participants with an accessible pathway to develop their artistic skills and confidence. Through our programs, participants can use NDIS funding to engage in professional theatre training, explore creative opportunities, and take meaningful steps toward their personal and career goals in the Arts.
Contact us for more information on how you can use your NDIS for your participation funding in No Strings.
Professional Artists, Professional Approach
Professional artists collaborate and co-devise new works with our performers, tailoring approaches to maximise creative engagement and expression.
This collaborative co-design reflects lived experience and ensures authentic representation in our showcase performances.
Our workshops focus on developing your artistic abilities rather than positioning our work as primarily therapeutic.
We recognise your creative potential and provide the tools and techniques for you to learn and build your capacity to express yourself through professional theatre practice.

Artistic Collaborators
These are the professional artists you will be working with at No Strings. They act as tutors, mentors, directors, and coaches. All are theatre-trained with experience collaborating with performers living with disability to create groundbreaking work.
Workshop Showcases
Our workshop programs culminate in showcase performances, such as AMPLIFY, where you can share your creative work with family, friends, and the community.
These showcases celebrate your artistic development and provide valuable performance experience.
Through these showcases, you gain confidence in your abilities and receive recognition for your artistic contributions.
Many participants move from workshops to our professional productions, finding meaningful paid employment in their chosen creative field.
