Touched

...touched in the head, in the heart...

About

Touched (1998) introduced audiences to No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability at their boldest—an original blackfella/whitefella comedy with music, inspired by the Dreamtime story of Tiddalik, the greedy frog who drank all the water in the world.

Premiering at the inaugural High Beam Festival, this ambitious work-in-progress captivated audiences and sold out, marking the start of a powerful new voice in Australian theatre.

With sharp humour, cultural storytelling, and imaginative theatrical spirit, Touched explored greed, community, land, and reconciliation through bold visuals, music, and an ensemble of performers redefining the stage.

Honest, playful, and thought-provoking, Touched celebrated disability-led storytelling and invited audiences into a shared moment of laughter, reflection, and connection.
