ReConnect! 2018

2018: End-of-Year Showcase

About

Three New Works Celebrating Culture, Wonder, and Survival
The performers of No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability have been busy innovating, creating, and rehearsing, and it’s time to ReConnect!
Featuring 3 new productions directed by Alirio Zavarce.

We are proud to partner with the Spirit Festival to present ReConnect! 2018.

“Soundscape to our Memories” created by tracking culture
Partnering with Kura Yerlo in collaboration with Jermaine Hampton & Mitre Khammash.

What are the first sounds you remember? Is it a lullaby? Is it the sound of birds and country? Is there a distant song that reminds you of someone’s face? Or is it the sound of a didgeridoo? Participants from all over Australia reconnect with their culture and their stories based on the first sound and songs they remember.

“Small wondrous little things” created by the studio
In collaboration with Emma Beech.

Each of these more experienced performers invites us to join them in a place that is beautiful, small and wondrous. Prepare to be amazed!

“Soundscape to our Memories”created by the troupe
In collaboration with Rachael Wegener & Tyson Olson.

Imagine being marooned on a tropical island: Within seconds you realise there is no wi-fi, no reception, no home delivery, & no movies on demand .. panic ensues! Within minutes civilisation spirals into chaos.

How will they survive the next 30 minutes?
