AMPLIFY! 2023 – Adelaide Fringe: Theatre That Breaks Every Rule

An original production of three newly devised theatre pieces from important South Australian disability theatre company. These original works are directed by local theatre practitioners, Dr Corinna Di Niro, Cat Purling & Mitre Khammash. Thirty-One disabled actors will come together with Adelaide audiences and perform new work that AMPLIFIES their unique voice whilst showcasing their practiced artistic craft.

The Studio turned their razor-sharp wit on the absurdity of bureaucracy, creating satirical chaos that left audiences gasping with laughter and recognition.
The Theatrics dared to imagine utopia—a town free from political meddling. But is paradise as perfect as it sounds? Their answer will surprise you.
The Troupe made history by becoming the first ensemble of disabled actors worldwide to create and perform a complete Commedia Dell’Arte production. Ancient art form meets contemporary voices in a collision that sparked theatrical magic.
